Note: you can think of any color theme and create the organizer. For example, cover the rolls with any light-colored paper and highlight the edges with its darker shade; or cover the rolls with white paper and stick colored paper around the edges.

  1. Paper towel rolls are approximately 9 inches long. Measure 5 inches and cut. You will need five of these rolls; picture 2.

  2. Leaving 1 inch on both sides of these rolls, cut out a rectangle (3 inches long and 1.5 inches wide) from the middle, repeat step on all five; pictures 3 and 4.

  3. Take three more paper towel rolls and cut one side diagonally. Keep them an inch smaller than the others, images 5 and 6.

  4. Take the remaining rolls and cut them all into different sizes; you will need at least four.

  5. Now place all the rolls on the hard cardboard piece (the base of the desk organizer). Measure the sizes and draw a line around so you can get an idea of how you will make the organizer, I made a square shaped base, and on one side an extended circle, the size of the roll . See photos 7 and 8.

  6. Secure the ends of the rolls with a piece of cardboard and cover the base and all the rolls with the colored paper, images 9 and 10.

  7. Then using hot glue glue the long rolls on top of each other and glue them to the left side of the base as shown in picture 11.

  8. Glue the green rolls together, photo 12.

  9. Join five more oval-shaped paper rolls, these will go under the green rolls and create an arc-like shape; then glue them next to the long rolls, photos 13 and 14.

  10. Carefully glue the green rolls to it; glue the colored paper to give it a neat look, photo 15.

  11. Glue the rolls of various sizes one by one to the right side of the organizer base. Picture 16.

Note: In one of the rolls on the right side I made a diagonal slit, this is to keep the reminders in sight.
