A perfect balance between studies and extracurricular activities contributes to the overall development of your child’s personality, ensuring good intellectual growth.
This is why most schools offer activity classes.
However, with confinement, it becomes a duty for parents to help their children learn.
Don’t worry, here are some craft ideas that will keep your kids captivated.
DIY pencil holder from unused CDs
We’ve all made pen stands from bottles, bracelets, etc. unused. Now let’s try to make one out of some old CDs.
Cover two CDs and a sheet of cardboard with colored paper.
Keeping the CDs parallel, glue the piece of cardboard between them, while leaving an opening at the top.
Place it on a third CD that will serve as a base. Decorate it as you like.
Popsicle stick shade
A DIY lampshade can be very handy, but doesn’t require a lot of effort.
Join four popsicle sticks together to make a square frame. Prepare 50 to 60 of these frames.
Then glue a bead to each corner of each frame and glue all the frames together.
Finally, attach a bulb holder to it. And there you have it, your beautiful lampshade is now ready to shine!
Pom poms are adorable, they instantly amplify everything.
Wrap wool around two fingers and tie it in the middle with a knot. Now cut the curls with scissors and your pompom is ready.
Make lots of pom poms in different colors. Then take a string of rope and glue the pom poms equidistant.
Hang the string threads along the curtains. That’s it.
Mason jar photo frame
This is another easy yet cool DIY idea.
While DIY mason jar projects may seem cliché, they never really get old.
To start, take out an old mason jar. Then use a sponge brush to dab the color onto the jar. Apply 2-3 coats for a neat effect.
Place a special image inside the jar. You can also add flowers to it.
Carpet with pompoms
We already know how to make pompoms.
But this time, instead of your fingers, use two rolls of toilet paper for bigger pom poms.
Take some jute and cut it into the shape of your choice. Start gluing the pompoms on it to cover it completely. Make sure the pom poms stay in their place.
So, get creative and make your kids happy with these easy DIY projects.
