There’s a party in my confetti bowl and everyone’s invited – Spoken like the true queen of cheese making that I am. Seriously, confetti bowls are so adorable you’ll want to make your own collection of them. Confetti Bowls will bring exhilaration to any decor, whether it’s a party or your bathroom.

Let’s get into it!

What do you need:

  • Ball
  • Bundle of confetti
  • Mod Podge
  • Brush
  • Scissors

Note: The confetti bowl may feel wobbly to the touch, but trust me, they can hold up. For basic strength, I recommend gluing at least four layers of confetti. If you are looking for less wobble, you can definitely glue more layers of confetti. If you are short on time, I recommend using a hair dryer to speed up the drying of the glue.

Activity:

Inflate a balloon and tie it closed.

With the knotted end of the balloon in the north position, lacquer the bottom half of the balloon with mod podge.

Layer confetti on mod podge glue. Set aside and let the glue dry.

Continue adding several layers of mod podge glue and confetti, until the bowl is the thickness you want.

One last time, coat the outside of the confetti with Mod Podge glue. Set aside and let the glue dry.

Deflate the balloon. Remove the balloon from the confetti bowl. With scissors, cut off the top edge of the bowl to smooth the edge.
