If your house looks like ours, you probably have a whole bunch of old magazines lying around in different rooms. If you don’t feel like recycling them or if you didn’t have time to donate them to your child’s school, why not rally the kids together and switch to using old magazines today. to make reusable crafts?

Here are some creative ideas:

Make a bowl / vase

This is a very simple DIY idea – all you need is a magazine and a glue gun. Tear individual pages and fold them into vertical strips. Start by making a base, then glue the strips lightly on top of each other until the shape of a bowl forms.

Making beads

Cut out smaller shapes from a magazine (like a triangle, circle, or square), cover all edges except one with a thin strip of glue, then roll into small balls / tubes. It is a good idea to use a thin object, like a pencil or toothpick, in the middle to achieve a uniform size / shape. You can then combine them into necklaces, decorations, etc.
